We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of our new nursery, kindergarten and pre-school in Kissonerga. Designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children aged 2 to 6 years, our flagship centre will focus on holistic development through a blend of play-based learning and structured activities.
Drawing inspiration from Montessori, Waldorf, and the British Early Years framework, our goal is to support each child’s natural curiosity and individual growth.
More information will be available soon.
Our early years education is built on a unique hybrid pedagogy that blends the structure and independence of Montessori, the creativity and rhythm of Waldorf and the child-led, project-based exploration of Reggio Emilia. These are harmonised with a flexible and modern application of the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. We have intentionally removed outdated and restrictive practices, offering an environment that adapts to the developmental needs of 21st-century children.
Our approach embraces holistic child development. Cognitive, emotional, social and physical development are nurtured equally. Children are encouraged to explore, express themselves and develop autonomy at their own pace.
Play is central to learning in the early years. Through imaginative play, storytelling, music and hands-on activities, children make meaningful connections with their environment and with each other.
We cultivate a warm, community-oriented atmosphere within each group. Through structured activities and cooperative learning, children are encouraged to develop empathy, leadership and strong interpersonal skills, laying the foundation for confident and compassionate learners.
We are currently in the process of securing our building permit, with construction and setup expected to take approximately six months. We will announce our official opening date as soon as we have a confirmed timeline.
The Kissonerga Kindergarten will welcome children from 2 to 6 years old, supporting early childhood development and preparing them for a smooth transition into Primary education.
Like our other campuses, the Kissonerga location will follow the British EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework, enriched with Montessori-inspired principles and elements from other alternative education models. We aim to provide a warm, child-led learning environment that nurtures independence, curiosity and creativity.
Our new site will feature state-of-the-art classrooms equipped with the latest learning technologies and designed to inspire creativity and comfort. The outdoor space will be expansive—over 4,000 square meters—offering ample room for exploration and play. Children will have the chance to tend to a large vegetable garden and interact with a few friendly animals, including rabbits and chickens, fostering a strong connection with nature and responsibility.
No, potty training is not required for enrolment at the Kissonerga location. We support each child’s individual development and work closely with families to assist in this important stage.
We will offer two nutritious meal options daily—a vegetarian choice and a regular (non-vegetarian) option—to accommodate diverse dietary preferences. Parents will be asked to provide snacks for morning and afternoon breaks. Our focus is on balanced nutrition, sustainability and a calm communal dining experience.
Our kindergarten will be conveniently located in a central area of Kissonerga, directly opposite the Atlantica Golden Beach Hotel, making it easily accessible for families across the region.
Registrations are now open, and our waiting list is filling up quickly. Families interested in enrolling at the Kissonerga location can register their interest through our website or by contacting our administrative team. We will keep you informed with updates on the opening date and enrolment process.
